CareLink - A simple way to share for better patient care

The CareLink web portal allows external clinicians to securely view patient medical information as well as communicate with our physicians and clinical teams to coordinate patient care.

New users needing access should email accessrequest@epiclp.com 
You will be contacted to fill out security forms and complete compliance and CareLink training.

Medical record viewing and communication 

Medical Records: External clinicians treating Beaver Medical Group patients can view the medical records of the patients they are treating on CareLink. This includes outside specialists that caring for Beaver patients, as well as doctors treating Beaver patients in the hospital. Patient information on CareLink includes:

· Lab and Imaging Results

· Medications

· Medical Problems & Allergies

· Medical Notes & History

· Health Maintenance & Immunizations

Communication and Patient Care Coordination: External clinicians can coordinate patient care with Beaver Medical Group/EPIC Management easily on CareLink. Communication via CareLink can eliminate phone calls and faxes. CareLink allows outside clinicians to:

· Send and receive messages

· Request consults

· Schedule appointments

· Request orders /tests

· Send and receive documents

CareLink can also be used to securely release medical records to agencies legally requesting medical information with a Release of Information form. Medical record information on CareLink will include Beaver Medical Group patients only.

 

Managed care portal features 

Insurance companies and health care organizations that work with the medical groups managed by EPIC Management can use CareLink for managed care coordination beginning. CareLink allows partner organizations to:

· Submit & track referrals

· View authorizations

· Track claims status

· View coding, billing, etc.

· Send and receive messages
